1. The FarHere service
FarHere is a technology platform intended to connect a requester seeking a live view of a location with an independent provider willing to show that location by live video. FarHere is not a surveillance, emergency-response, investigative, real-estate brokerage, legal, medical, or professional inspection service.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old, provide accurate information, protect your credentials, and use only your own account. We may require email, phone, device, identity, or payment verification. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless you promptly report unauthorized access.
3. Prohibited conduct
You may not use FarHere to follow or identify a person; stalk, harass, threaten, or discriminate; trespass; secretly observe private activity; focus requests on minors; obtain restricted information; evade security; facilitate unlawful activity; request dangerous tasks; or violate another person’s privacy, property, or intellectual-property rights.
Providers may refuse or immediately end any request they reasonably believe is unsafe, unlawful, deceptive, or outside the agreed scope.
4. Requests and sessions
Requesters must describe the location, timing, duration, route or scope, and expected visual task accurately. Providers review the information before accepting. Material changes require mutual agreement. Connection quality and conditions at a location can affect what can be shown. Either party may end a session for safety reasons.
5. Prices, payments, and refunds
When paid services are enabled, the offered price, platform fees, provider payout, cancellation terms, and any extension will be shown before commitment. Payment processing may be provided by a third party. Refund and dispute outcomes may depend on connection records, timing, scope, conduct, and applicable law. No live payment is implied merely because a pre-release interface displays simulated pricing.
6. Live content and privacy
You must have lawful authority to capture and transmit what you show. Do not display passwords, financial information, private documents, license plates when unnecessary, or people who reasonably expect privacy. FarHere does not record live calls by default. Screenshots or recording by a participant may be restricted by law and are prohibited without proper authorization and consent.
7. Reports, suspension, and termination
Users may report safety, fraud, conduct, privacy, or payment concerns. FarHere may preserve relevant records, restrict features, suspend an account, or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users, investigate a complaint, enforce these terms, or comply with law. Decisions may include an internal case identifier, evidence summary, reason, reviewer, outcome, and appeal record.
8. Service limitations
The service is provided on an “as available” basis. FarHere does not guarantee that a provider will be available, that a live view will be complete or accurate, or that the service will be uninterrupted. Users must independently verify information important to safety, legal rights, financial decisions, or property transactions. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded.
